Clause 25(2) (a) of the OHSA (Occupational Health and Safety Act) places responsibility on the employer to "provide information, instruction and supervision to a worker to protect the health or safety of the worker". We believe that a safe workplace is crucial to the success of your company.

Canadian Forklift Training Centre programs meet or exceed the CSA Standard and the Ontario Ministry of Labour's "Guidelines for the Safe Operation and Maintenance of Powered Lift Truck Trucks". CFTC provides fully customizable Entry Level Lift Truck Operator Training & Certification courses for operators with little or no experience and Refresher Courses for experienced operators.

The CSA Standard B335-04 recommends that lift truck operators receive retraining on both theory and practical every three years with a mid-term practical evaluation.

Working environments where hazardous materials or dangerous goods are present will require additional employee training in principles of TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) and WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System). Safety training is required by provincial and federal regulations and is a sound investment in the success of your company.
